Three TAI Students’ Work Accepted at the National Student Show

SMU students, Katie Ogden (graduate student), Monika Hoang (senior), and Nicole Hodges (senior) will have their work shown at the 9th Annual National Student Show sponsored by the Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DVSC).

Katie entered in the category of Graduate Student Work with creative campaigns for Food Truck Park, Pile, and the Boston Philharmonic. Monika submitted her work in the categories of Environmental Designs (campaigns for The Global Refugee Crisis and Guantanamo by the Numbers), Packaging (Better Halves), and finally Print Advertising – General (Ducolax). Nicole is also featured in the Print Advertising – General category with her work for Crayola.

The conference (April 11-13, 2013) features industry keynote speakers, workshops, panel discussions, a job fair, and a portfolio review by leading industry professionals.

Want to major or minor in Advertising? Register by 5:00pm TODAY to sit for the TAI On-Site Application this week!

Want to major or minor in advertising? We will be offering three On-Site Applications this week, March 21 – 23, for qualified students. You are eligible to register if you have taken or are taking:

  • ADV 2374
  • DISC 1312 and 1313
  • STAT 1301 or 2301 or 2331

You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better in these four courses, as well as a cumulative SMU GPA of 2.5 or better, to be qualified to sit for the application.  Additionally, you must have completed or will complete, by the end of the Spring 2013 term, at least 30 hours.

Register BEFORE 5pm TODAY, Wednesday, March 20, for one of these application sessions:

  • Thursday March 21
  • Friday March 22
  • Saturday March 23
