Quick Tip: Adding a New Device in Duo

In this installment of the OIT Quick Tip, I’ll show you how to add a new device to your Duo two-factor authentication service.

As you may have already heard, we are removing the option to use telephone calls and SMS (text messages) to authenticate with Duo in January. It is important to have another authentication method in place to prevent any interruption in service. Be sure to contact the IT Help Desk if you need any assistance or have any questions about this upcoming change.

While Teams has its own cloud storage capabilities, you and your team may already use Box to store and collaborate on documents. If you think that you have to choose between one or the other, think again! MS Teams allows you to connect Box folders so they appear in the Files section of team channels.
