After many months of planning, testing, and implementation, we are delighted to announce that the migration of telephones from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams is complete! Around 3,200 telephone lines were migrated, with approximately 1,000 headsets and desk phones distributed to the community. Phone Replacement Project to Replace Old PBX Phones
With the recent completion of the Unified Messaging/Voice Mail Replacement project, OIT is now launching a long-term project to implement an updated phone system. The objective of the Phone Replacement Project is to replace the current campus telephone system (PBX), which has been in service for over 20 years.
