The Office of Information Technology is introducing a new annual review process to help departments verify and update their public directory information. This fall, a Qualtrics survey will be distributed, allowing departments to update what appears on the SMU Department Directory webpage and ensure the accuracy of information for SMU call centers. IT Help Desk
Our first line of support is the IT Help Desk. If you have a tech support question or don’t know who to ask for help, reach out, and our team of specialists will assist. We have expanded your support options by adding online chat as a way of contact. Just go to smu.edu/itchat to get started.
Of course, you can still contact via phone (214-768-HELP), email (help@smu.edu), online support form (help.smu.edu), or just walk in and talk to someone at the physical Help Desk within Fondren Library. For a list of current hours, please visit smu.edu/itsupport.

SMU’s University Operators: More than a friendly voice.
It’s amazing to see how much information new and returning students have to sort through in such a short time. Do you have health insurance? Are you interested in studying abroad? Mom & Dad, have you heard about SMU’s Mothers’ and Dads’ Clubs? Do you have your computer and know what type of software your school requires?
