SMU login credentials are changing soon
On December 26, 2024, SMU will switch to using NetID as the standard username for signing into SMU services. Due to a change in how we authenticate with our Single Sign-on (SSO), using your eight-digit employee ID number to sign in will no longer be possible. We are moving to a more convenient NetID that, for most people at SMU, resembles their email address. With the change less than two weeks away, we encourage everyone to start using their NetID today.
