Using Microsoft Copilot in Your Everyday Work

If you haven’t explored Microsoft’s AI tool yet, you may want to give it a spin. While I’m not a fan of Copilot for image generation, I’ve found it incredibly helpful for making meeting minutes more concise, drafting training materials, brainstorming ideas, and a whole host of other tasks. Integrating AI with Academia: Insights from the AI Teaching Workshop

AI Teaching Workshop flyerI recently met with Tyeson Seale, Director of Academic Technology for the Meadows School of the Arts, to learn more about the AI Teaching Workshop held at the Dedman School of Law on February 21, 2025.

The event, organized by the Manager of Canvas & Instructional Systems, Jennifer Mayes, featured several OIT speakers, including Eric Godat, Director of OIT Research, who presented on AI Foundations. Dedman School of Law’s ATSD James Pan presented AI teaching tools beyond chatbots, and introduced Notebook AI, a tool for content summarization and podcast generation.
