Live Healthy North Texas 100 Day Team Challenge
Rev up your fitness plan and enjoy the benefits of a team experience by signing up for the Live Healthy challenge!
Wellpower Fit-For-Life Classes Begin January 18
Power Yoga, Gravity Strength, and Total Body Chisel are the featured FREE drop-in classes this semester. Dedman Center membership required.
Free Onsite Health Screenings
Conveniently offered for FREE on campus for benefit-eligible staff and faculty. Earn a 20% discount on your 2012 BCBSTX deductible and get a check on your vital biometric measurements!
Naturally Slim Healthy Lifestyles Class
Applications for this nationally acclaimed 10-week program are being taken now. Recent biometric measurements from an onsite screening or full physical are required to apply.
SMU “Goes Red For Heart Health”Â
Join us in supporting heart health in February.
- Mustang Basketball’s Go Red Night –Don your favorite RED SMU shirt and cheer the Mustangs onto victory on February 2 at 7:00pm in Moody Coliseum.
- Sign up to attend the Wellpower Lunch & Learn on “Your Diet–Tools and Trackers” February 16, 12noon-1pm, in Expressway Tower, Room 208. Seating is limited, so sign up now!
- Go Red for Heart Health Day–On Friday, February 25, join us in supporting heart health at SMU by wearing RED.
- Wellpower Walk For Heart Health! Lace up your sneakers and bring your friends for a heart healthy cruise around our beautiful campus. February 25, 12noon-1pm.
Do Your Heart Good and Quit Smoking
The SMU Psychology Department is conducting a smoking cessation program and you could qualify for free treatment and even be compensated for your time.
Volunteer to Help Make Wellpower Better
Are you a Wellpower member with a passion for wellness? We’re looking for volunteers to help us champion wellness programs on campus, plan for future programs, and improve existing programs. Please respond by February 7, 2011.Â
