SMUSA Officers at Children's Medical Center Dallas
SMUSA selected Children’s Medical Center Dallas (a member of the United Way Metropolitan Dallas area) as the beneficiary of its 2010 service project. Staff members were encouraged to donate arts & crafts supplies, new books and DVD’s to the children receiving treatment at the center. In total, 18 boxes of items, as well as $200 in Target gift cards were collected, along with cash donations of approximately $4,000.Â
Denton Bricker (President Elect), Darrah Rippy (VP of Services & Activities) and Gretchen Voight (President, SMUSA) delivered the items to Children’s Medical Center Dallas in December 2010. Â
SMUSA was proud to support the hospital this year. The SMUSA Board plans to volunteer together as a group by the close of the fiscal year. Any staff member interested in volunteering their time, please contact SMUSA at 214-768-2037.
