After a long reign as the king of interactive media for the web, Adobe Flash Player – usurped in recent years by open standards such as HTML5, WebGL, and WebAssembly – is coming to an end. After over a billion downloads, on December 31, 2020, the once standard for adding rich web content will step down from its throne for good.

As a result of the campus closure, student access to Adobe Creative Cloud in labs and classrooms is not available. Adobe has provided temporary at-home access for impacted students and faculty so that they can continue their work remotely. 
Some folks on campus have reported receiving a notification that their Adobe software license is expiring. If you have received this notice, don’t fret! Our license with Adobe is still active and you can continue using Adobe products as before, but there is a new way to obtain the software and keep the license up-to-date.
