Adobe Extends Temporary Access to Creative Cloud Desktop Apps
As a result of the campus closure, student access to Adobe Creative Cloud in labs and classrooms is limited. In March, Adobe provided temporary at-home access for impacted students and faculty, so that they can continue their work remotely until May 31, 2020. Since the campus is still experiencing remote operations due to the pandemic, Adobe is providing an extension of the temporary grace for Creative Cloud Desktop Apps for student licenses through July 6, 2020. This will allow students time to resolve any creative class projects using the creative suite, study for certifications, and, of course, use the applications until we get closer to a Healthy Opening Fall 2020. Digital Literacy in Higher Education: Highlights from EduMAX
Last month, I had the opportunity to attend EduMAX, a pre-conference gathering of the Adobe Creative Campus Collaboration at Adobe MAX in Los Angeles. This year was the fifth anniversary of EduMAX. To celebrate, Adobe brought educational leaders and partners from across the globe to participate and discuss with other peer institutions how to enhance the student experience with Adobe tools. Eight schools were represented by over 20 different speakers covering social justice, becoming a Creative Campus, improving digital literacy, and even spotlighting the achievements of students.
