12twenty to Replace Handshake for Career Services

SMU has made the decision to move from Handshake to 12Twenty as our campus career services platform beginning in Fall of 2024. All of SMU’s career services offices will fully transition to 12twenty on August 1st. More information will be sent out in the coming weeks, including student login and system use information and information to campus offices to post on-campus student jobs.

Foundations of Career Development Course Returns for Summer 2022

The Hegi Family Career Development Center will offer the Foundations of Career Development Online Course this summer beginning Wednesday, June 1, 2022. The course, conceptualized by Crystal Clayton, Executive Director of SMU’s Hegi Family Career Development Center, was created through a partnership between the Hegi CDC and OIT Training & Communications. In this self-paced course, students will explore topics including job search techniques, resume and cover letter writing, interview skills, and effective research of employers and career industries. New Foundations for Career Development Online Course Available
