The Hegi Family Career Development Center will offer the Foundations of Career Development Online Course this summer beginning Wednesday, June 1, 2022. The course, conceptualized by Crystal Clayton, Executive Director of SMU’s Hegi Family Career Development Center, was created through a partnership between the Hegi CDC and OIT Training & Communications. In this self-paced course, students will explore topics including job search techniques, resume and cover letter writing, interview skills, and effective research of employers and career industries. At the conclusion of the course, students will receive a professional development credit on their LinkedIn profile and may include this achievement on their resumes.
Registration is open from Monday, May 16, 2022, through Wednesday, June 1, 2022. The course will be available from Wednesday, June 1, 2022, through Sunday, July 3, 2022. To register, please visit https://bit.ly/hegifoundations.
