Introducing the New Microsoft 365 Apps Exams

Over the summer, Microsoft released its latest versions of the Microsoft Office Specialist exams: Microsoft 365 Apps Associate and Microsoft 365 Apps Expert. Starting this semester, anyone interested in certifying with OIT will be offered the Microsoft 365 Apps exam, with the exception of the Outlook Associate exam, which is currently only available in the 2019 version. To date, OIT’s Microsoft Office Specialist program assists 16 faculty across 27 class sections that offer one of the Microsoft Office exams as part of a class requirement or for extra credit. Students who are seeking certification as part of a class assignment can secure additional information on testing procedures under the “Pages” section of their Canvas course.

Microsoft Office Certifications are free for all faculty, staff, and students as part of our Training outreach. Practice exams are provided, and certification testing is offered 5 days a week.
