Open Enrollment is October 18-29. During this time, you will be making decisions regarding your Benefits options for Year 2011. Are you wondering which medical plan is best for you and your family? Do you want to hear information and strategies that will support you in making the right choice for you and/or your family?
If so, please come to the session How to Choose the Right Medical Option at Health and Wellness Day on October 21 from 9:00am-10:30am in the Forum of Hughes-Trigg.
In this session I will discuss:
* Deductibles: the potential financial benefits of choosing a higher deductible option.
* How the medical options work and the differences between them.
* Coinsurance, what medical/prescription expenses are (or are not) applied to your deductible and
annual out-of-pocket maximum, and more.
You’ll also learn about the Partners in Healthcare concept and its impact on Health Care Reform at SMU.
