Resources.SMU: The Wiki for All of Us

Resources.SMULast month, we shared that a new public wiki is coming. This month, we have our first site available on the new resources.smu.edu public wiki, the OIT Knowledge Base, and we are now accepting requests to transfer sites to the new wiki. Designed to make our technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and policies accessible to a broader audience, Resources.SMU supports our goals of visibility, transparency, and knowledge sharing across the university and beyond. The New Wiki.SMU, powered by XWiki, is Now Available

The migration from Confluence to XWiki is complete and the new Wiki.SMU is now available for use. XWiki will be the platform for documentation such as IT Knowledge Base, STABLE documentation, and my.SMU instructions. To access, go to smu.edu/wiki.

Migration to XWiki Starts February 23

As you may have heard, OIT is transitioning from Atlassian Confluence to power our campus Wiki solution to a new product, XWiki. Our main goal is to provide a seamless migration for all spaces on Wiki.SMU. OIT is planning to migrate to XWiki on the weekend of February 23, 2024, with the new Wiki.SMU coming online on the morning of February 26, 2024.
