Upgrade Announcement: VPN

This is an important message for all faculty and staff members who use VPN to connect to SMU services.

VPNStarting at 5 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020, the campus VPN appliances will be upgraded to the latest software version, which will improve support for accessing vpn.smu.edu, especially for users using macOS Catalina as their primary OS, along with other fixes. The first appliance will be updated, and once successful, the second one will be updated. While we believe the update will not cause any interruption to service, there might be a brief outage of up to 30 minutes.
