For his efforts, Matthew was awarded a Study Prize Pack filled with goodies, such as a reusable LinkedIn Learning water bottle, a $25 Starbucks gift card, a $50 campus print credit, plus snacks and other treats. Introduction to Newswriting Student Earns 1,000th MOS Certification

Last spring, Sandra Duhé, Chair of Corporate Communication and Public Affairs (CCPA) reached out to OIT to learn how they could incorporate the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications in the classroom. As a result, two CCPA courses are requiring their students to get MOS certified this semester.

Microsoft Office Certifications Now a Permanent Service

Microsoft Office Specialist LogoWe are delighted to announce that the Microsoft Office certification program, which initially started in 2017, has moved out of pilot phase and is now added to our list of permanent services offered by OIT. This program, administered by IT Training & Communications, is intended to serve as a student outreach and professional development opportunity for faculty and staff to engage in industry-standard certifications.
