Beginning September 1, 2025, SMU students are licensed for Adobe Express. This powerful online application lets you create stunning graphics, videos, and documents. Whether you need to create a presentation, promote an event, or create graphics for your online presence, it can all be done easily and quickly in Adobe Express.
Adobe Express allows students to quickly create content for social media, use AI to generate images, and even create quick videos for their courses. For example, Students can use generative AI image creation and text effects tools to design quilt squares that represent who they are and what they care about, or visualize a scene from a book with the help of generative AI, or use photos and design elements to create moodboards that set the tone for the year ahead.
Getting Started
To access the software, go to smu.edu/express. Click the Sign In button and log in with your SMU Email address using the @smu.edu format. When prompted for account type, choose Company or School Account and continue the authentication process.
There are plenty of training materials available on the Adobe site, including directly within Adobe Express, as well as LinkedIn Learning.
