Earlier this year, we let you know about the implementation of an improved Grant Management module in my.SMU. This new platform enables SMU to provide improved visibility and clarity to grant information. The next phase of this implementation is taking place this month as the Grants Portal goes live!
This portal allows principal investigators to view details about their grants without having to pore through complicated Q drive financial reports. Individuals designated as Principal Investigators (PIs), Co-PIs, and key personnel on grant projects will be given access to this portal, and information on how to use the portal is available on our wiki and in this video:
