OIT has received notice that effective immediately, Lumen will no longer be providing Century Link Conference services to campus. If you are needing a virtual conference room, we recommend using one of the on-campus solutions that are already available.
Skype: Users, both internal and external to SMU, may attend a Skype meeting. From the Outlook calendar, click the Skype Meeting icon. Individuals may join by phone using a conference ID provided via the Outlook calendar invitation. Web camera features and desktop sharing are also available.
Zoom: Similar to the features above, users may have audio or video calls via Zoom. In addition to desktop sharing, Zoom users can enjoy breakout rooms for smaller one-off discussions, whiteboards, and more. To get started, visit smu.edu/zoom.
