SMU has launched an analysis project to review the University’s current Web Content Management (WCM) system, Sitecore. This collaborative effort between Development and External Affairs and the Office of Information Technology will explore whether Sitecore continues to meet the University’s needs or if another platform may better support how we connect with our audiences and share the SMU story.
A selection team has been formed to review vendor proposals, with evaluations beginning at the end of November. Vendor demonstrations are planned for early December, with finalist selections anticipated in mid-January.
Updates on the committee’s recommendations and next steps for the University’s WCM system will be shared in the first quarter of 2026.
