The Office of Research and Innovation has partnered with OIT to implement Cayuse, a portal for cloud-based research administration.
Cayuse will help manage proposals, grants, contracts, and compliance. It integrates with data from my.SMU to help researchers and grant administrators track their activities and efforts in submitting and receiving grants. The connected apps help simplify the management of each user’s research portfolio and reinforces best practices for data accuracy and auditability.
Look for more information about the timeline and events surrounding the Cayuse implementation throughout the Fall semester, including information sessions and training opportunities. More information will be posted on our blog and on a new Cayuse service page that will soon go live on the SMU Office of Research and Innovation website.
