Microsoft is continuing to develop new features for the Office Suite, including Outlook. While these changes offer several improvements, there have been reports of side effects that may impact calendar synchronization across multiple platforms. Microsoft has released a set of best practices for calendar management, which we have compiled into a quick handout. It includes recommended approaches to recurring appointments, attachments, and delegation.

The new version of the Outlook client addresses many issues but also has some limitations. It provides an experience similar to the web client and includes enhanced AI capabilities with Copilot. However, features like shared contacts, toggling between profiles, and archived calendar items are not yet available.
Users can try out the new client by toggling the New Outlook button at the top of their Mail screen to determine if this version meets their needs.
