Sitecore Surveys lead to New Sessions in the New Year

SitecoreOver the past two months, OIT has been busily collecting data to help us understand what is working, what needs improvement, and what kind of opportunities are possible with SMU’s web presence. We are taking a lot of different data sources to get the most comprehensive picture possible. Here are a few examples:

  1. Sitecore editors survey,
  2. Shared Services OIT survey,
  3. Tickets from Support.SMU, and
  4. Speaking with users.

Taking this data, we find that there are certainly opportunities to improve the process of envisioning and managing content. Many items can be made easier through different training methods and some technology changes. Watch for these from OIT in the months ahead.

Starting in January, we will provide new ways to engage the web applications team to help you efficiently manage your content. Stay tuned for these new and exciting in-person sessions!
