Can my department host an off-campus dinner or meeting that includes students, faculty and/or staff along with alumni, business leaders or other groups?

At this time, off-campus gatherings, including department dinners or meetings to encourage community connections with students, are discouraged in an effort prevent the spread of the virus and maintain a healthy campus.

I am traveling from another country into Dallas. Am I required to self-quarantine?

Students or staff preparing to travel to SMU from outside the country are not required to self-quarantine at this time. All students, however, are expected to conduct a daily self-screen for COVID-19 when they return to campus. Visit the SMU International Student and Scholar Services office for more information on the latest guidelines.
