Introducing SMU360, the new community engagement platform for Southern Methodist University. The Division of Student Affairs selected the CampusGroups solution to replace the aging Connect.SMU with a more robust and mobile-friendly tool. Starting today, SMU360 offers the entire SMU community a place to engage with organizations and departments, view events happening across campus, chat with others, and more!
An online hub for student organization activity, SMU360 is where you will manage and communicate with your organization. Officers have the ability to create surveys or forms, send group-wide communications via email, newsletter, or posting in their group feed, and share important documents. Plus, organization leaders can customize the group page to fit the need of the organization.
SMU360 is also how departments and offices can easily connect with students and promote their events and services. Through a department page, you can build forms, surveys, and polls, as well as advertise your events to the SMU community. By managing your events on SMU360, you have the ability to track attendance, send reminders, and send post-event surveys. Over 100 departments have already joined the platform, and there is room for your department too. You can request a page for your department by contacting the IT Help Desk at help@smu.edu.
Additionally, SMU360 will enable direct connection to commonly utilized resources such as my.SMU (students only), the Canvas LMS, and STABLE. The single application with Single Sign-On will make your online experience much smoother.
Check out SMU360 by going to smu.edu/smu360. Use your SMU credentials to log in and start connecting with others across the SMU community today! The SMU360 app is also available for download in your mobile device’s app store. Download now.
