OIT has recently licensed DubBot, a product that can help website editors identify and resolve web accessibility issues. The tool can also help with recognizing misspelled words, broken links, and even website content that does not adhere to SMU’s editorial style guide. By producing user-friendly reports, campus web authors can determine improvement opportunities in their pages and communications.
Currently, the OIT Web Team is reaching out to web leadership around the campus to discuss this tool and how users can get started on the path to improved web accessibility.
