ICUT Hosts Microsoft Professional Development Training

ICUT logoThis December, the Independent Colleges & Universities of Texas (ICUT) will host Microsoft professional development training for schools and educators with remote learning tools. SMU faculty and staff are invited to attend these workshops.

All workshops will be delivered through Microsoft Teams which will allow participants to interact directly with the presenter and collaborate with other attendees from various institutions.

The goal is to provide information and instruction about how educators can stay connected with students through hybrid learning using Microsoft multimedia tools.

Flipgrid logoFlipgrid is a video discussion platform that helps educators see and hear from every student in the class and foster a fun and supportive social learning environment.  During this session, we’ll explore how Flipgrid allows you to stay connected with your students asynchronously. You’ll learn how to create a Grid, Topics, share with students, and discover ways to use Flipgrid within their learning communities. We’ll also cover Microsoft Stream, which is a video service where people within your school can upload, view, and share videos securely.
