Need an Introduction to R Programming?

R LogoAre you looking to learn the basics of the R programming language and discover more about the field of data science? The upcoming Data Science Workshop Series: Introduction to R Programming will provide the foundations for using R in data science. 

In this workshop, Michael Hahsler, OIT’s Data Science Researcher in Residence, will show how to replace repetitive tasks through scripting and how machine learning with R can be used in your area. Starting Wednesday, February 5, 2020, the four-session course will also cover using R Studio, programming basics, the R syntax, functions, vectorization, importing/exporting data (CSV, Excel), cleaning data, and basic visualizations.
