SMU Buildings and Roads has circulated a notice that electrical service will be shut off to several campus buildings as a part of campus construction activities. The shutdown will begin on Monday, January 16 starting approximately at 10 a.m. and is expected to last approximately 90 minutes. Offices in these buildings should remember to shut down computers and printers before the electrical service being shut off.
- McFarlin Auditorium
- Umphrey Lee Center
This shutdown will also impact network connections in the buildings. If you continue to have networking issues 30 minutes after the power has been restored, please contact the IT Help Desk at 214-768-HELP.
