Digital Humanities Research Institute Returns in May

Digital Humanities Research Institute (DHRI) logoSMU libraries, in partnership with OIT, will be holding an in-person Digital Humanities Research Institute (DHRI) the week of May 13, 2024, in the Visualization Lab at Ford Hall. Applications are open now! Apply by April 15, 2024, by visiting smu.edu/applydhri.

If you are interested in learning more about digital methodologies for research questions or want to see how these methodologies apply to your research project, this is a great opportunity!

Our curriculum includes an introduction to digital methodologies, data acquisition and use, copyright & licensing, project planning, an introduction to choosing useful tools, and getting started with the Python programming language.
