Big iDeas Applications – SMU Office of Engaged Learning

Only SMU Undergraduate students are eligible to apply.
Each idea needs at least 2 team members (only 1 needs to be present to pitch).
Pitches are 4 minutes and may include a slide deck. There will be a very brief Q&A from the judges after.
All applications must include a written Business Plan. Download our Business Plan Template.

Applications are accepted through February 5, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

Competition:
February 9, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

We highly recommend that all participants attend our Pitch Practice Sessions. See our calendar for times and locations.
