Dallas ISD New Teacher Salary and Teacher Incentives!

Dallas ISD new Teacher salary is now starting at $60,000 for all new teachers hired for the 2022-2023 school year!

We are also offering a $2,000 new teacher hiring incentive, this incentive will only be applicable to teachers of record who are hired for the 2022-2023 school year before September 1, 2022.

Our new teacher hiring incentive is also stackable, which means that it would be added to other applicable incentives such as:

$3,000 – Secondary Math, Secondary Science, SPED Unit, Secondary CATE, LOTE, and Speech Occupational & Physical Therapist

$5,000 – Elementary Bilingual (to include a $4,000 annual stipend), Deaf Education, and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology

Each incentive is a one-time payment and paid over two installments.  The educator’s certificate must be posted to TEA to be eligible for the incentive.

S.P.A.R.K. Program in Downtown Dallas

Noggin Educational Foundation S.P.A.R.K. Program Site Coordinator DOWNTOWN DALLAS

S.P.A.R.K is an 18 hour summer program providing math and reading enrichment activities with the goal
of reducing or preventing summer learning loss. S.P.A.R.K is staffed by dedicated, experienced
classroom teachers who are contract employees of Noggin Educational Foundation. We partner with
organizations that offer summer programs targeting economically disadvantaged youth.
Location(s):  Downtown Dallas
Job Description
Each S.P.A.R.K. Teacher is responsible for managing and instructing a classroom of students as they
work through activities in stations. Teachers will have knowledge and ability to instruct students in math
and reading TEKS of assigned grade.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Attend one hour program orientation.
2. Be prepared to assist students with activities (Prior to arrival, read and understand activity
descriptions and instructions).
3. Manage and instruct 20-25 students, one-on-one during Stations and computer activities.
4. Utilize help from classroom volunteer.
5. Administer assessments on first and last days of the program.
6. Establish and enforce rules of behavior for students in the classroom.
7. Record attendance
8. Report any and all accidents/incidents to Stewpot/First Presbyterian and Noggin staff.
Qualifications
Site Coordinators must possess ALL of the following qualifications:
1. Classroom teaching experience
2. Ability to supervise and manage a classroom
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Responsible and dependable
5. Punctual
6. Professional
7. Organized
8. Pleasant and polite
Expected Attire
Appropriate classroom attire is required. Jeans or pants and shirt (No words on shirts.). NO shorts.
Schedule
● June 10th training 10:00 – 11:00 at First Presbyterian Church Downtown Dallas
● Week of June 13th, 2022 – week of July 27th, 2022 (Week of July 3rd off)
● Monday-Wednesday
● Noon – 1 pm Downtown Dallas
Compensation
$30/hour
