Math Teaching Job Opportunity, Immediate Opening, Stipend Available

My name is Iselee Hill, and I am representing the mathematics department at Duncanville High School Collegiate Academy, an Early College High School program housed in Duncanville High School. We have an immediate opening for a high school math teacher (must have degree and a passed Math 7-12 subject test or a degree with 24 hours of mathematics coursework and a willingness to enroll in an alternative certification program). I am emailing to request that you share this opportunity with your network.

The Early College High School program is a program of choice and prepares students for dual credit and college coursework during their high school tenure. Our students graduate with both a high school diploma and an Associate’s Degree from Dallas College. We value flexibility, collaboration, innovation, and professional autonomy and are looking for an eager mathematician to prepare our students for the years of math (we hope) they will pursue beyond high school.

Any interested individual may apply online here (be sure to choose the position located at Collegiate Academy) or email me with any questions. I am even happy to set up zoom appointments if there is significant interest.

Children’s Health Dallas Volunteer Program!

Children’s Health Dallas is currently recruiting volunteers to join our Volunteer Program!

Please pass along this information to anyone in your group or organization you think may be interested!

Whether you are a college student, working professional, stay at home parent, retiree, or anyone in between, Children’s Health-Dallas would love to have you join our amazing group of volunteers.

Adult volunteers at Children’s Health help patients and their families through direct, non-clinical patient care, customer service and staff support. Volunteers commit to serving a 2–4-hour weekday shift or a 2–4-hour biweekly shift on weekends for at least six months. Children’s Health depends on the invaluable contributions of volunteers to help us work toward our mission of Making Life Better for Children. Volunteering provides the opportunity for you to gain meaningful experiences, learn new skills and make new friends, all while making a lasting impact on children’s lives. Some of the opportunities we offer include: leading arts and crafts in one of our playrooms, directing families to their clinic visits, playing with a patient whose caregiver has stepped away, supporting the work of our clinical teams, and a variety of other roles!

You can find out more about becoming a Children’s Health volunteer by visiting our website Dallas Campus Volunteers (childrens.com) or giving our office a call at 214-456-6388 with any questions.
