The Department of Economics is excited to announce that applications for our 4+1 accelerated Master’s program are now open!
Our 4+1 program offers an accelerated path for SMU economics undergraduates to earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in significantly less time than earning the degrees separately. Students take graduate courses that will be applied to both the bachelor’s and master’s degrees (up to 9 hours) in their senior year. With this degree, students have expanded career options and significantly increase their future earning potential. Check out the flyer and complete an application if you are interested!
