Research Assistant Opportunities in Economic History at Queen’s University Belfast

Queen’s University Belfast is hiring two Research Assistants in Economic History to support the Centre for Economics, Policy and History’s (CEPH) research programme for the 2025-26 academic year. These positions are part of a Government of Ireland-funded cross-border research initiative.

Key Details:

  • Position: Research Assistant in Economic History
  • Duration: 12 months, fixed-term (potential for renewal)
  • Salary: £33,785 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in economic history
  • Data entry, cleaning, and processing
  • Support the research project’s principal investigators

Essential Criteria:

  • Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, or related discipline
