Local Information

On SMU Campus:

Conference Venue: All conference related events will take place at the Hughes-Triggs Student Center, centrally located on campus, at 3140 Dyer St, Dallas, TX 75275.

Equipment: All conference rooms are equipped with PC desktop computers, projectors, speakers and WI-FI.

Internet: While on campus, conference participants will have free wireless internet access through SMU_Guest. To connect follow the instructions by clicking here.

Printing: Printing is available at the Fondren Library for a modest fee.

Dining: Dining options at the Hughes-Triggs Student Center are The Market, Chic-Fil-A, Cinco Taco and Panera Bread*. More dining options are available at Snider Plaza and on Hillcrest Avenue, within walking distance of campus (approximately 10 minutes). For more sophisticated dining options, see the “Dining” link below.

*Note: Hughes-Triggs Student Center eateries will not be available on Friday (April 7, Good Friday) or Saturday (April 8). In addition to Snider Plaza and Hillcrest Avenue options, on these days  lunch will be provided at the SIUS 2023 Conference.
