- Abstracts must not exceed 500 words (excluding the title, with a second page reserved for tables, examples and references).
- Abstracts must clearly present a specific thesis statement and include a description of topic, approach, and conclusions.
- Authors may submit a total of two abstracts, one individual and one joint.
- Submissions for panels will also be accepted. A panel should include a 500-word description and three to four abstracts related to the panel theme.
- All submissions will be reviewed anonymously. To preserve anonymity during the review process, authors should not include their names or otherwise reveal their identities anywhere in the abstract. Please also remember to remove all identifiers from the file itself, following the steps outlined here.
- Papers/panels may be delivered in English or Spanish, with papers in Spanish especially encouraged.
- Authors should aim for papers that are 20 minutes long followed by a 10-minute Q&A period.
