Tristan Morales is a labor and employment partner in O’Melveny’s Washington D.C. office. As a leader of O’Melveny’s DEI and Affirmative Action Task Force, Tristan has extensive experience advising employers on challenges to corporate diversity programs, including under Section 1981, Title VII, and shareholder derivative claims alleging that officers/directors breached their fiduciary duties by approving DEI policies. Tristan was named a “Rising Star” in transportation law by Law360 in 2021.

David S. Huntley recently retired as Chief Compliance Officer at AT&T, Inc. Mr. Huntley is also an SMU Trustees, a member of Executive Leadership Council, Inc., a member of The Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation, and on the board of 5 other companies. In his past career he occupied the position of Senior Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at AT&T Services, Inc., Secretary, Senior Vice President & General Counsel for AT&T Advertising Solutions, Inc. and Secretary, Senior Vice President & General Counsel for AT&T Interactive, Inc. Mr. Huntley received a graduate degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and an undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University.

 Julia A. Simon serves as Mary Kay’s Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary overseeing the company’s Legal, Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, Government Relations, Corporate Communications, Sustainability, and Corporate Social Responsibility functions. She also serves as both the Senior Privacy Officer and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer for the company. Her teams protect and advance the company’s reputation and operations in over thirty-five markets around the globe. 

Julia has more than 30 years of legal experience starting her career in private law practice at McGlinchey, Stafford & Lang in New Orleans, and then at Locke Purnell Rain Harrell in Dallas where she was elected as a shareholder. She joined the Mary Kay legal department in 2000 and has served in many positions during her 23-year tenure. 

Julia earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a law degree from The University of Texas School of Law. In 2022, Julia received the 20th annual Robert H. Dedman Award for Ethics & Law by the Texas General Counsel Forum and was recognized as one of the Top 500 Business Leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth by D CEO magazine. Julia was spotlighted by Business Insider as one of the most influential Black businesswomen in the United States and listed as one of the most powerful executives in corporate America by Black Enterprise.
