Final reading of Summer Author Series to feature Creative Writing Professor David Haynes

Creative Writing Professor David Haynes will read from A Star in the Face of the Sky at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Audelia Road branch at 10045 Audelia Road. Haynes’s book is about two families coping with the legacy of personal and political violence. Haynes is the author of seven novels for adults and five books for younger readers. He directs SMU’s creative writing program and teaches regularly in the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers. Read more
