The following interview is part of a class assignment for Entrepreneurship and the Hero Adventure at SMU, Meadows School of the Arts. Each interview has been conducted and created by students for this course, which celebrates those heroes in our communities. Heroism, for the purpose of this course and assignment is described as:
- Service of something larger than oneself.
- A willingness to sacrifice in the name of service.

Will Power is an award winning playwright who currently serves as the artist in residence at SMU Meadows School of the Arts. Within his two years at Meadows, so far, he has put up two semi-devised theater pieces: Alice Underground, a modern hip-hop take on Alice in Wonderland, and Shakespeare Project: A Battle of Wills, a high energy Shakespeare project that connects rhythm to famous Shakespearean texts. In the fall of 2013 one of his famous plays, The Seven, will be performed at Meadows School of the Arts utilizing the undergraduate and graduate students.
