Get back deleted iPhone Voicemails

Sometimes we wish for an undo in the iPhone’s Phone app, mostly when we accidentally delete a voicemail message. You might just be in luck. Next time you you accidentally delete a voicemail message, try this:

  • Open the Voicemail screen in the Phone app.
  • At the bottom of the screen, select Deleted Messages.
  • Select the message you wish to restore and then click Undelete.

Unfortunately, this won’t help you get back those voicemails you left on other’s phones at 2 in the morning.

The Timeline Returns to iMovie ’11

When Apple decided to reinvent the movie editing interface for iMovie ’08, many traditional editors were quite unhappy with the loss of the timeline. New users of iMovie found working with the new method easy, but it frustrated longtime editors used to seeing a timeline to go along with their video. After 2 major updates, looks like Apple maybe listening.

The online newsletter and Web site TidBITS reveled last week that you can regain the timeline in iMovie ’11. The best part, it’s fairly easy to do. By swapping the Project and Event browsers, you are now able to restore the traditional timeline.
