Housing Forward
Date: January 25th
Opportunity: We need volunteers on January 25th to engage with our unhoused neighbors during the 2024 Point-in-Time (PIT) count. Volunteers are truly making a difference by participating in the count and contributing to our efforts to address homelessness in our community. Sign up here.
Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center
Opportunity: To work directly with survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones; opportunities include assisting with DARCC’s 24/7 Crisis Hotline, providing hospital accompaniment, and accompanying survivors to legal proceedings and/or accompanying survivors when making a report to law enforcement.
Requirements: Volunteers must pass a background check and complete a 40-hour Office of the Attorney General (OAG) mandated volunteer advocate training. Currently, the training is virtual. Winter 2024 Volunteer Training is scheduled from February 19th – March 7th. Please sign up here.
