Sarah Mallett is a partner in the Government, Regulatory & Internal Investigations Practice Group in the Dallas office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Sarah is a former Assistant Director in the United States Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Division of Enforcement and an experienced litigator who focuses on advising and representing public companies, private equity firms, asset managers, financial institutions, and other entities and individuals facing government, regulatory, or internal investigations, examinations and enforcement proceedings. Sarah brings clients a current and insider’s view on best navigating SEC investigations, examinations, and rulemaking.

Eric Werner

Eric Werner has worked at the Commission for 27 years, including the last 19 years in the Fort Worth office. Mr. Werner oversees more than 100 personnel, including attorneys, accountants, investigators, and securities compliance examiners focusing on enforcement actions and compliance examinations across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas. Prior to joining the Fort Worth office, Mr. Werner worked in the Division of Enforcement’s Home Office as an investigative attorney and later in the Office of Chief Counsel.

David Reece

David Reece serves as an Assistant Vice-President, Senior Legal Counsel for AT&T Services, Inc., where he helps manage a diverse docket of complex litigation and investigations.  Before joining AT&T, Mr. Reece spent 18 years in various roles at the Fort Worth Regional Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission, including serving as the Regional Trial Counsel responsible for the office’s enforcement trial docket and as an Assistant Director supervising investigations within the Enforcement Division’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Unit. Throughout his time at the SEC, Mr. Reece investigated and litigated a wide range of enforcement matters, including disclosure and accounting-related violations, offering frauds, insider trading, and FCPA violations. Before joining the SEC, Mr. Reece was a litigator at a Dallas-based international law firm, where he worked on government investigations and complex litigation. He began his career as a law clerk to the Honorable Hugh Maddox at the Supreme Court of Alabama.

Kelly Vickers

Kelly Vickers leads a global cross-functional matrixed team at Kimberly-Clark Corporation through challenges and strategies on complex litigation issues, as well as key commercial disputes and regulatory issues. She works with Global clients to assess risk, make strategic judgments, and drive legal strategies and processes. Since 2021, she has led the creation of Kimberly-Clark’s Global Corporate Pro Bono Program, including establishing Pro Bono guidelines and developing the program. Prior to joining Kimberly-Clark, Kelly was a partner at Locke Lord LLP in the White Collar Criminal Defense & Investigations practice group, where I represented companies and individuals in high-stakes civil and criminal matters, primarily in federal court, including taking cases to trial.
