Faculty who have recently been appointed Associate Editors

Two faculty members have become associate editors of psychology journals in recent months: Chrystyna Kouros for Journal of Child and Family Studies and Mike Chmielewski for Assessment. They join other faculty members who are current or former associate editors, including Austin Baldwin, Ernie Jouriles, Renee McDonald, Alicia Meuret, and Thomas Ritz. Kudos to all!

Juliet Kroll Receives a Research Award!

Juliet Kroll, a graduate student in Dr. Thomas Ritz’s lab, received the prestigious Paul D. MacLean Award for Outstanding Contributions to Neuroscience in Psychosomatic Medicine from the American Psychosomatic Society.

High-risk drinking talk by Dr. Zamboanga on 9/21

Dr. Byron Zamboanga (Smith College), will give a talk entitled Why do Young People Drink, Play Drinking Games, and Pregame?

Reggie Dupard Receives the Exemplary Alumni Award

Reggie Dupard, who received his BA from the Psychology Department in 1999, was awarded the Exemplary Alumni Award at the 2017 Psychology Graduation Ceremony. Reggie is currently the College Career Coordinator for Texans Can Academies. He has worked extensively with at-risk youth in Dallas and around Texas. Congratulations, Reggie!!!
