Dr. Baldwin receives APA Division 38 Citation

Dr. Austin Baldwin recently received a Presidential Citation from the American Psychological Association’s Division 38 (Health Psychology) for his contributions to the division. Dr. Baldwin co-chaired the committee redesigning their website. Congratulations, Austin!

New Faculty Member joins the Department

Dr. Chrystyna Kouros, a developmental psychologist who received her Ph.D. from Notre Dame University and has been a post-doc at Vanderbilt University for the past two years, will be joining the faculty next month. We are delighted about this new addition to the department!

Psi Chi Induction and Talk

On Monday, April 25, from 5 to 6 pm, the spring induction ceremony of new members will be held in Hyer 111. In addition, Dr. Gene Ondrusek will give a talk on his experiences as the psychological adviser for the Survivor television series. All are invited.

Dr. Mahoney to speak on Faith & Family

Dr. Annette Mahoney, a professor at Bowling Green State University, will be giving a talk at 5:00 – 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 24th in Dedman Life Sciences Bldg., room 131.

Her talk is entitled “The Science of Faith and Family: A Framework & Illustrations.”
