Pride Spotlight Series: Stories of Leadership, Faith, and Community

At Perkins, Pride Month is an opportunity to recognize and honor members of our community whose lives and callings embody courage, compassion and a deep commitment to welcome all.  This year, we invited a faculty member, a student, and alumni to share their personal stories and reflections.  In this Pride Spotlight: Voices of Perkins series, we’re proud to share conversations with members of the Perkins community who are making a meaningful difference in their churches, classrooms, and communities.

Explore Each Story:

  • Rev. Randall G. Lucas, Lead Pastor of St. Stephen UMC in Mesquite, TX,  shares how embracing his identity has shaped a ministry rooted in belonging and authenticity. Read the full spotlight here.
