Big Blue Button is an open source web conference software. It provides real-time sharing of audio, video, slides, chat, and screen. Students are engaged through sharing of emoji icons, polling, and breakout rooms. Pros:

• Easy Online Classroom Management
• Specifically Designed for Online Learning

Cons:

• I have checked with the library and IT folks and you can use this free system, but keep in mind that if you have problems, you will need to work with Big Blue Button directly because SMU does not own the license for this platform.
