Congratulations to Grant Ryden ’15 who recently joined NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. Grant worked on the James Webb Space Telescope project for over 3 years supporting Integration and Test in California, Launch in South America, and Commissioning in Maryland, all of which helped open the door to join NASA. Grant now works as a NASA systems engineer supporting the development and procurement of a communication and navigation service for the lunar surface in support humans and science missions returning to the Moon. Grant graduated from SMU in 2015 with bachelor degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics.
