Advertising Lecturer Mark Allen Designed for History Channel’s Vikings at Comic-Con (PHOTOS)

Mark Allen, Lecturer, Temerlin Advertising Institute, was hired for the third year in a row to provide design services for the History Channel’s most popular show – Vikings – at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con.

Previously Allen created elements for an elaborate Nordic village that allowed convention-goers to engage with the brand at a rustic mead hall and mini-longboat rowing races. This year Allen was asked to do something unique with the shuttles that pick up Comic-Con guests at their hotels. He worked with Civic Entertainment Group (NYC) to transform several amphibious vehicles into large Viking longboats that transported fans to the convention center by land and by sea.
